Yale MathCounts Outreach is an Undergraduate Organization working to provide afterschool math enrichment programs for New Haven Middle and Elementary School students. Yale students teach math curriculum weekly in most New Haven public Middle Schools, as well as some New Haven Elementary Schools.

Mathcounts Outreach also organizes large-scale events on Yale's campus. The first is Girls' Math Day, held annually in the fall to celebrate the accomplishments of women in math, and to encourage our female students to continue its study.

Mathcounts Outreach also holds an annual Math Competition on Yale's campus drawing hundreds of students and teachers for a day of fun math!

On this site you can learn more about our organization, including our mission and members, as well as access the curriculum we teach in schools. If you would like additional information on how MathCounts can benefit the New Haven community, we encourage you to contact us! For background information about National MathCounts, we recommend that you visit the MathCounts Foundation website (www.mathcounts.org).
